Better stickers for your tanks!

We always look at how we can further improve our BlueBrixx Specials, of course.
And we also welcome suggestions from our fans. Now, we have upgraded the stickers for the Wehrmacht models again.
We changed the Balkenkreuz a bit. In the original there were slightly different versions.
Our revised sticker has the narrow and black side stripes, now.
But the most important thing: the tower numbers as stickers. Mostly these were three-digit for tank, train and company. In exceptional cases, there were also 2 and 4-digit numbers. On our new sticker sheets you have every number 4 times, therefore you can assemble practically all tower numbers.
The new stickers sheets are now available instead of the old ones and are send with each BlueBrixx Wehrmacht model.

The right weapons matter

When replicating weapons Lego® is a bit difficult, unless it is a laser gun from Star Wars. That's ok, because Lego® produces for the nursery.
But as a fan of historical tank models you need the right weapons for your models, of course. So we put together a small assortment with about 100 different sets.

There you will find weapons from different countries and eras, and other accessories such as sandbags, barbed wire, protective vests ...

Finally, you are able to equip your figures appropriately and like the original.

The files to our tank tracks

Since the range of Lego® on different chain links for tanks is quite sparse, we have developed different chain links in different sizes. This is necessary so that your tank models also have chains that correspond well to the real model and its proportions. As a BlueBrixx-Special you will find three different sizes. The smallest is 1 ½ nubs long, the middle 2 nubs long and the big one is 3 nubs long. You get a set of 100 pieces for 5, - to 6, - Euro. In addition to the typical black, we also have the chains in dark gray and dark silver. I personally like the steel-colored ones in dark silver best.

In order to use the BlueBrixx chain links in your LDraw drafts, we have made the LDraw files available to download. They need to be in the folder "Parts / unofficial". For details, see the LDraw tutorial, if you do not already know it all. So, have fun with the BlueBrixx tank tracks.

Not for kids

BlueBrixx Specials are not designed for children's hands. They are elaborately designed models for adults and young adults. This species is also called AFOL (Adult Fan Of Lego®) or AFOB (Adult Fan Of Bricks).

Our designers use many assembly techniques that are rather uncommon. Since the bricks are criss-cross and obliquely installed to meet the model as well as possible. This is often too difficult for children, and stability sometimes suffers. But the BlueBrixx Specials are not necessarily meant to play with (our railroad cars work anyway ;-). If our designers have the choice between a great design or easy assembly, they always choose the perfect design.
With this approach, we can make many, great models for you. Models which would never be sold by a toy manufacturer.

Why do BlueBrixx Specials have not a printed manual?

BlueBrixx Specials are designed for small quantities of very special models.
Models that will probably never exist as a standard set.
So we're talking about editions of perhaps a few 100 copies per set, not thousands like standard sets
from Cobi, Wange, Xingbao or even Lego®. Due to these small numbers printed manuals would be extremely expensive.
But once you've built a BlueBrixx Special with the help of the digital manual on the web pad, you'll quickly notice it how great that is. Maybe you have already made this experience yourself. The pad needs less space on the table, and the scrolling is really practical.
In addition to that, we can pass the instructions for free to anyone. Even if someone prefers Lego® instead.

What does BlueBrixx Special mean?

Usually, a Lego® set produces many thousands of pieces simultaneously.
This is no different with standard sets from Cobi, Xingao or Wange.
But now there are many great topics where you do not have thousands of sets that can be sold. For that matter, we offer the BlueBirxx Specials. Well-known designers creat extraordinary designs for the BlueBrixx Specials. These designs are not necessarly made for the nursery.

Parts for the sets are than rearranged from stored no-name bricks. So it does not have to be an expensive production machinery. That's why you get the BlueBrixx Specials at such low prices, despite the low number of units.

What are we doing here?

To put it bluntly, Lego® does a great job.
But the world of bricks is much bigger than what Lego® ofers.

We want to fill in this gap and present you what Lego does not have.
These are our BlueBrixx Specials, which we have in very small quantities of no-name bricks
put together. The designs are made for BlueBrixx by well-known designers.

In addition, we also have standard sets of other brands such as Xingbao and Wange to offer you.

The world of bricks will be much, much bigger!

Matching figures for your tanks

Again and again we have been asked for figures for our tank.
Now we finally got the matching custom minifigures for your tanks.
Soldiers of the US Army and the German Wehrmacht as minifigures are now available.
You get 10 custom minifigures for 14.95 euros.
All custom minifigures come with authentic armament like pistol, submachine gun or bazooka.

New railway cars under development

We are currently developing more than 10 new railway cars. All models are based on typical wagons from Germany. Whether it's a low side car, a high-side car, a tank car, a stake car or whatever, the selection will be great. Already with less than 10, - Euro will start. From November, the new railway wagons will be available as BlueBrixx special at www.bluebrixx.com.
